Hey, I’m Jen! It’s nice to meet you!

I am the owner and creator of The Book Shelf, the first and only mobile book store in Las Vegas!

I’m a Las Vegas native who traded lesson plans and classrooms for a trailer full of books. After years as a high school English teacher, I stopped teaching to launch a mobile bookstore. Sharing my love of reading and getting others to love it too has always been my goal. Reading has been prominent through my life, from reading Harry Potter under my covers as a kid, to choosing a career in English Education, and now to opening a book store.
